Most clients have a small idea of what they want for their session – especially couples. I usually throw a few ideas out if I’m given the chance (my mind is always racing with new ideas!) and I’ve wanted to do a “get in the water” shot for months.. or years even. I feel like most clients laugh and think I’m joking.. but Sarah and Derek were totally ready. I made sure they came prepared with clothes to change into after the session and we waited to get IN the ocean after all our other ideas were a success. This session was a BLAST. It started with their sweet pup, went on to being told we can’t trespass on private property (oops) and ended with a splash (or two). They’re a prime example of why I love my clients so much. They totally trusted me with all my silly ideas and turned every direction I gave into a gorgeous photo. I am so excited to shoot their wedding that I don’t even have words. ;) I will admit, I am VERY sad to hear that Derek’s job is moving these two a few states away…!
