Devon is my best friend and has been my biggest supporter since the day I decided to pick up a DSLR camera. She’s always willing to let me try out new techniques and new ideas.. and she’s definitely up for MAKING me try new things. I have a lot of wedding clients who have asked about boudoir sessions and usually I send them to a photographer friend of mine who took my maternity photos (Tess Johnson). I don’t offer sessions like this for just anyone — I like to stick to JUST my wedding clients. The reason is – we’re already comfortable with each other. They can talk to me and feel like they are part of my family already (I do tend to talk about my little one a bit much..). So, this is the type of boudoir session that I offer.
I loved this session – we even had some sweet Bruno Mars tunes on the ipod… haha! It’s always easier for me to shoot this if I’m comfortable with the client – so I can imagine that being on the other side of the camera you’d want to feel just as comfortable! ;)
